What should I expect for my first Reformer class?** We ask that new clients arrive 10 minutes early. This allows for time to meet the instructor, get set up on your Reformer, and discuss any specific modifications you might need throughout class so that you have a safe and effective workout. Our studio has an entrance on both sides. Most clients park in the lot on the south side of the building. Street parking is available on the North side of the building. Choose clothing that you can move in. We recommend clothing that is not too tight, but also not so loose that it might get caught. Wearing layers is a great idea too. It may take a while to warm up, so a long sleeve top that you can easily remove would be ideal. When you enter the studio you will be asked to remove your shoes. You can wear grip socks during your Reformer class. If you do not have grip socks, no problem. Bare feet are actually better because this allows for natural foot articulation and engagement with the equipment. We recommend bringing a bottle of water so that you can hydrate during and after class. Perhaps most importantly, bring awareness to your workout. How is your body feeling? Do you have any aches or pains? Will you need to make modifications during your workout? What are you hoping to get out of your reformer workout? We are a Reformer based studio and use Allegro 2 Reformers designed by Balanced Body. Each Reformer has a white, powder-coated aluminum frame and is equipped with a carbon fiber infinity footbar. Reformer Pilates isn’t just safe for teenagers—it helps them build healthy posture and movement habits that can last a lifetime! We know attending a new class can feel a little daunting at any age, so planning to join them for their first session can really help ease any nerves. Our group classes are open to teens 16 and older, and younger teens are warmly welcome to book private sessions for more personalized guidance. To help them get started comfortably, we recommend choosing one of our Foundations Reformer classes. **8\. How many times a week should I schedule a Reformer Pilates class?** For most people, the sweet spot when doing Reformer Pilates is at least 2-3 times per week. Just enough to see results but not feel overwhelmed. However, the amount of work you put into your sessions and the number of times you need to work out largely depends on the goals you've set for your body. Don't forget, we also offer a group Stretch & Restore class on the Reformer that is a great class when you need to schedule a recovery day.  We are open Monday-Saturday and offer group Reformer classes every morning. You can book evening classes Monday-Thursday. We have a 4-hour cancellation policy in effect for all group classes. We have a 12-hour cancellation policy in effect for all private, 1 on 1 appointments. All cancellations or changes must be managed online by the client. **11\. For the unlimited membership can I book more that one class on the same day?** Unfortunately, no. I understand that participating in physical activity may involve serious risks to my health, life and property, including the risk of death or permanent injury. Risks include, but are not limited to musculoskeletal injuries, broken bones, and/or overuse injuries. These risks may result from the use of the equipment or facilities, from the acts of others, from the activity itself or from the unavailability of emergency medical care. If I have chosen not to obtain a physician’s consent prior to beginning a fitness program, I hereby agree that I am doing so solely at my own risk. I voluntarily assume all risks that may arise out of the result from use of the equipment or facilities, and/or services of Reform and Restore Pilates. I accept full responsibility for my health, safety, and property during participation. I assert that I am in good physical condition and do not suffer from any medical issues that could be exacerbated by my participation. I understand that it is my responsibility to obtain health insurance and not the responsibility of Reform and Restore Pilates.  To the extent allowed by law, I hereby waive any claim I may have at any time based on my participation in activities at Reform and Restore Pilates. In addition, if at any time I believe that event conditions are unsafe or that I am unable to participate due to physical, medical, or emotional conditions, then I will immediately discontinue participation. If any term, clause, or provision of this Assumption of Risk, Waiver, and Release from Liability Agreement is held illegal, invalid or unenforceable under present or future laws, it is the express intention of the owner, Greta Weeks, that the remainder of this agreement shall be legal, valid, and enforceable. I understand that close contact with people increases the risk of infection from COVID-19. By signing this form, I acknowledge that I am aware of the risk of exposure to or infection with coronavirus may result from the acts, omissions, or negligence of myself or others. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself and give consent to participate in any service provided by Reform and Restore Pilates. I give my permission to Reform & Restore Pilates to use my likeness in a photo and/or video in any materials without payment or any other consideration. This form is an important legal document that explains the risks you are assuming by beginning an exercise program. It is critical that you have read and understand this document completely. If you do not understand any part of this document, it is your ultimate responsibility to ask for clarification prior to affirming or signing it. A (12) hour notice is required to cancel and reschedule any class or private 1-on-1 Reformer or Assisted stretch sessions. Thank you for respecting and honoring our strict (12) hour cancellation policy for all bookings. All booking cancellations or changes must be managed online by the client, at least (12) hours prior to your booking to avoid forfeiting your credit or session. Memberships require a 3 month commitment. Members may cancel anytime after three months.
